Agreement to Terms
Society for the Arts in Healthcare provides access and use of this site ("Site") subject to your agreement to the following "Terms of Use" (the "Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Terms, as well as the Site (and information contained within the Site) may be updated or revised from time to time without notice to you. You agree to periodically review these Terms, and your continued access to or use of the Site shall constitute your acceptance of the updated or revised Terms.

No Liability
Under no circumstances will Society for the Arts in Healthcare be liable for any consequence relating directly or indirectly to any action or inaction you take based on the information, services or other material on the Site. While Society for the Arts in Healthcare will attempt to keep its Site current, accurate, and complete, we cannot guarantee, and will not be responsible for any damage or loss related to, the timeliness, accuracy, or completeness of the information, services, or other material on the Site. 

Site Conduct

When using the Site, you agree to abide by the following rules: (a) you may not post or transmit content (information, data, text, software, graphics, sound, photographs, video, messages, etc.) ("Content") that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, harmful, threatening, abusive, hateful, that violates the property rights of others (including without limitation infringing use of a copyright or trademark), that violates the privacy or publicity right of others, or are otherwise objectionable; (b) you may not interfere with other users' use of the Site; (c) you may not use the Site to conduct any activity that is illegal or that violates the rights of others; (d) you may not use the Site to directly advertise or sell products or services to others; (e) you may not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; (f) you may not post or transmit Content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, confidential information, etc.); (g) you may not post Content to the Site unless the Content is freely owned by you or used with the permission of all other persons with any rights in the Content; and (h) you may not use the Site to collect or store personal data about other users. 

Submission of Content

If you submit Content to the Site, you grant to, or warrant that the owner of such Content has expressly granted to Society for the Arts in Healthcare, a world-wide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, non-exclusive and fully sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such Content (in whole or part) and/or to incorporate such Content in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed. 

Internet Links

The Site may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other Internet sites. Society for the Arts in Healthcare has no control over such sites; Society for the Arts in Healthcare does not endorse, and is not responsible for, any such sites or the information, material, products or services contained on or accessible through those sites. You acknowledge that Society for the Arts in Healthcare shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance upon any such information, material, products, or services.

Third Parties
Your correspondence or business transactions with, or participation in promotions of, third parties found on, or e-commerce through, the Site and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such third party. You agree that Society for the Arts in Healthcare shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such transactions or as the result of the presence of such third parties on the Site.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Society for the Arts in Healthcare, its affiliates, governing board, officers, agents, employees, partners, and suppliers from any liability, loss, claim, demand, and expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) related to (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your posting of Content to the Site.

Modifications to Site
Society for the Arts in Healthcare reserves the right to, from time to time, discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the information, services, products, and/or other Content on the Site with or without notice.

Use and Storage of Content on the Site
Society for the Arts in Healthcare may establish general practices and limits concerning the use of the Site, including without limitation, the maximum number of days that Content will be available on, or retained by, the Site. Society for the Arts in Healthcare, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change these general practices and limits at any time.

Ownership of Content
All information on the Site, as well as the organization and layout of the site, other than Content posted by you, is owned and copyrighted by Society for the Arts in Healthcare or other Site users. Except as expressly authorized by Society for the Arts in Healthcare, you may not copy, distribute, resell, display, sublicense or create derivative works based on any such information from the Site, in whole or in part.

Society for the Arts in Healthcare Logo Usage Policy
The goal of this policy statement is to establish clear, consistent guidelines on the use of the Society for the Arts in Healthcare logo. As the Society for the Arts in Healthcare’s most recognizable visual identity, the power of the logo lies in its consistent and appropriate use. This identity is the cornerstone of the Society’s brand, which distinguishes it from any other organization. 

To sustain an image that reflects the Society for the Arts in Healthcare’s mission -- an international community dedicated to promoting the arts as an integral component of healthcare -- the Society for the Arts in Healthcare will safeguard the use of its logo. The Society for the Arts in Healthcare logo is protected by copyright laws and may only be reproduced, distributed, displayed, or used to prepare derivative works with the prior consent of the Society for the Arts in Healthcare. 

Submission of a request letter followed by the Society for the Arts in Healthcare's approval is required for any use of the Society for the Arts in Healthcare's logo with the following exceptions:
  • Society for the Arts in Healthcare Grant recipients are encouraged to use the Society for the Arts in Healthcare logo (within the terms of use as defined below) in all publicity material and are exempt from submitting the logo use request. 
  • For partnerships and joint ventures already approved by the Society for the Arts in Healthcare board, use of the logo is also approved, within the terms defined below.

Terms of Use:
The logo may not be used to explicitly or implicitly suggest endorsement of commercial goods or services. Use only the Society for the Arts in Healthcare authorized electronic artwork of the logo to be displayed as an independent logo and not co-joined with any other graphic or text in such a way as to imply endorsement or sponsorship. 

Elements of the Logo: The logo consists of four elements:
1.)   design
2.)   colors
3.)   text
4.)   typeface

The Society for the Arts in Healthcare logo must always be used with these four elements of the logo. The Society for the Arts in Healthcare logo must be used with the accompanying text, “Society for the Arts in Healthcare.” The logo should remain the same proportionally.

Acceptable Formats: The logo is available in web and print resolutions (EPS, TIFF, JPG) in the following formats 1.) 4-color; 2.) 2-color; 3.) Gray-scale. High resolution files must be used for print production.

Size and Placement: The logo must be reproduced large enough in relation to overall page or screen size to ensure adequate legibility and prominence. Society for the Arts in Healthcare must be legible even at small sizes. A minimum of .25 inches of clear space surrounding the logo is required to separate it from other elements such as copy, pictures, slogans, or other logotypes and symbols. The logo may not be placed on top of images.

Web use: In all cases, the logo must be an active link to http://www.thesah.org/. When used on a member’s personal website, the Society for the Arts in Healthcare logo must be preceded by the following text “a member of.”

Links to the Society's website: Society for the Arts in Healthcare permits links to content at http://www.thesah.org/ except when linking suggests that the Society for the Arts in Healthcare promotes or endorses any third party’s causes, ideas, web sites, products or services. We reserve the right to withdraw permission from any link.

Logo Use Request:
Advance written approval from the Society for the Arts in Healthcare is required before the Society for the Arts in Healthcare's logo can be used. Prompt consideration will be given to any requestor. 

In the form of a letter, requests should provide the following information: 
  1. Organization requesting use
  2. Contact person, phone and email
  3. Format in which the logo will appear – poster, invitation, program, etc.
  4. Media – print or electronic
  5. Dates of use
  6. Sample layout, or design, of how the logo will be used
  7. Requested logo format
