The JASA Far Rockaway Senior Adult Day Care Center is a social program for older adults suffering from dementia, alzheimers, and other mental conditions. We are currently seeking interested volunteers to lead classes and programs for our clients, including arts and crafts, musical therapy, exercise, and more! This is a fun group to work with, and they are always excited to have guests and visitors.

This center operates on a Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm schedule.

JASA, the Jewish Association for Services for the Aged, provides social, health, cultural and educational programs for over 55,000 older adults throughout New York City and Nassau and Suffolk Counties. These services help to keep seniors independent in their homes and active in their communities for as long as possible, and offers opportunities for a better quality of life.
