Internship Program The Internship Program at Broadway House for Continuing Care provides an invaluable opportunity for students to get a unique and candid look at the world of non-profits by being inside one of the most unique organizations in New Jersey. The qualified and committed students will gain valuable hands-on experience in their discipline of study, including the opportunity to participate as an active member in the Broadway House network. For us, internships provide the capacity to support current program initiatives as well as develop new programs. We require a one semester time commitment. For graduate school and summer interns, hours vary considerably. Most internships are unpaid. A few may qualify for a travel stipend. Art Therapy Internship - Participate in training and treatment of residents in individual and group modalities
- Utilize creative expression in working with adults who are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS
- Co-facilitate Art Therapy groups
- Participate in various interdisciplinary meetings
- Ability to work with dry & wet medium
- Various general administrative responsibilities
Applicant must be enrolled in Art Therapy major for at least two years, BA or MA level. Reliable and professional-minded students are encouraged to apply. Internship Offered: Spring, Summer, Fall Deadlines for Application: February 1, June 1, and September 15
